The world’s largest fresh water lake is situated within this continent and it is known as Lake Superior. Moreover, it has the world’s third longest river called the Mississippi.

Within this continent, the world’s largest economy resides, popularly called the USA. North America is the world’s largest sugar exporter out of all the seven continents. Often referred to as ‘sugar bowl of the world’, it also is known to be the world’s largest producer of what, maize as well as soyabean. The major animals that are found in this continent include, hummingbird, brown bears, bullfrogs.
